Johnny Wesley

Johnny was born on September 6, 1934, to the late Willie and Jennie Wesley in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Johnny moved to Las Vegas and worked at the, now closed, Riviera Hotel in the early 80s. Johnny moved back to Monroe. He continued to do mechanical work until his health failed.

On September 22, 2021, Johnny departed this life at Saint Francis Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Victoria Wesley, and two brothers, James Welsey and Robert Warfield.

Johnny leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Sammie Dunaway Leon of Monroe, Louisiana, a son, Benjamin Wesley of Las Vegas, Nevada, two sisters, Mary Small of Dallas, Texas and Batrice Harris of Houston, Texas, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
