Johnie Ray Warbington was born on December 8, 1963, to the union of James N. Warbington and Izola Nash Warbington in Monroe, Louisiana. Johnie was called to his heavenly home on Friday, March 7, 2025.
Johnie was preceded in death by his parents, James and Izola Nash Warbington, and also three sisters, Sharon Warbington, Dorothy Bilton, and Anna Warbington.
At an early age, Johnie became a member of the Zion Travelers Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend CV Rodgers. Later in life, Johnie joined the Bright Oak Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Williams, and later Reverend Barry Gipson called upon him to be a deacon, one of the proudest days of his life.
Johnie was employed by Johnson Janitorial where he served over twenty years. Later, he was employed with ABS.
Left to cherish Johnie’s memory: “his” daughter, Tynell Daniels; granddaughter, Kelsy Wilson; siblings, Carolyn Turner, LaVerne Nash, James Nash, Laura Warbington (Calvin), Eva Warbington-Ba (Abdula), Estella Warbington-Blue (Anthony) and Moses Harris; very special friend, Evest Daniels; loving aunt, Shirley Lewis; and also a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
