Jeremy “Shakey” Jamiel James, 32, was born May 29, 1989. Jeremy was a longtime resident of Monroe, LA, where he gained his wings April 22, 2022.
Jeremy was the son of Karen V. James and Gary White. He attended Robinson Elementary School and a “2009” graduate of The Richwood High School. He was baptized at Hopewell Baptist Church, where he served as an usher at an early age and throughout his teenage years.
During “Shakey” free time, he loved being around family and friends. He enjoyed dancing, playing video games, and watching TV. He was the life of the party! Jeremy helped everyone. He always had a lending hand to those in need.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jessie James Jr.; uncles, Jessie James, III and Yancy Lee Cloman.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving mother, Karen V. James; longtime companion, Kiesha Jenkins; a loving brother, Tremayne James; grandmother, Hattie Mae Cloman; aunts, Elnora J. Cloman and Pansy N. Cloman; uncles, Keith James of Desoto, TX; and Orlando James (Demetris James) of Killen, TX; cousins, De’Anjuan Cloman (Renisha), Shalena Cloman, Stantavious Cloman, Qonterrious Cloman, Derrishia Cloman Banks (Scott Banks, Jr.), Jackeith Sims, Xiniqua Cloman, Mikia Ware, Jayva James, Hattie Cloman- Ware, Marcus Cloman, Jameela Cloman, Jamil Cloman; and a host of family, cousins, and friends.
