Jacqueline Loraine Byrd

On February 22, 1967, a star was born to Mary Ruth Hudson of Shreveport, LA, and John Alexander of Sterlington, LA. This star was named Jacqueline Loraine Byrd of Monroe, LA. On August 30, 2021, God called His star to her Heavenly Home to rest for all eternity.

Jacqueline Loraine Byrd was Baptized in 2012 at First Baptist Church. She moved to Atlanta, GA in 1989 and was employed at Gate Gourmet as a Dispatch Supervisor from 1989–2019, from which she retired. She was a certified Tax Preparer from 2003– 2020 and Certified Notary Public from 2010–2020.

Jacqueline attend Wossman High School, from which she graduated with the class of 1985.

Jacquline married her best friend, Leslie Byrd, on March 9, 1991, in Monroe, LA.

Jacquline was preceded her in death by, her mother and father, Mary Ruth Hudson and John Alexander; brothers, John Hudson, Jr. and Danny Ray Alexander; grandparents, Hazel Hudson, Sr., Lonnie Hudson, Sr., Lacy Sr. and Nina Alexander; and father-inlaw, John Byrd.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of: her husband, Leslie Byrd; two daughters, Kimberly Alexander and Jennifer Byrd, both of Forest Park, GA; one son, Leslie Alexander of Tipton, GA; two stepchildren, Kristi Allen of Morrow, GA and Latora Dennis of Stockton, CA; five grandchildren, Desiree Alexander, Jeriah Moorer Alexander, Lei’Anna Harris, Graclyn Alexander and Cameron Martin; her brothers, Eddie Alexander, Sr. and Robert Alexander of Forest Park, GA, = Thomas Alexander of Monroe LA;her sister, Shirley Bynum of West Monroe LA; and best friends, Leslie Allen of Monroe, LA, Sally Jones of Jonesboro, GA, and Aldonia Herring of Ellenwood, GA.
