Irene (Dunn) Cornist

Our sincere condolences, Bro. Azell and the family of Sis. Irene Cornist on her transition. The Pastor (Dr. J.L. Downing, Sr.) and members of Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Lakeland, FL share in your loss as we just received word of her passing. Sis. Irene was one beautiful soul and an integral part our Education Ministry as a Mentor.

Bro. Azell, may the love of those around you help you through the days ahead. Sis. Irene's song may have ended, but the melody of her life and legacy will linger on. We pray God continues to pour upon you His sweet amazing grace, and overflow your heart with peace for such a time as this. We commend you to Him who alone can give healing and comfort in this hour. We treasure her momory and now God has required this beautiful flower to take her rest. Until we meet again.

To Azel and Lisa: Mike and I are so upset to find out that Irene is no longer with us. I had been calling her and did not know that she had passed. I found out through the Internet.
