India Alexis Perry was born October 23,1996 to Christi Perry and Roy Price in Monroe, Louisiana at E.A. Conway Hospital.
When she was born, she had a red dot in the middle of her forehead like a bindi worn by the people of India.
She attended Shady Grove Elementary School, Shadow Hill Jr. High, Pete Knight High School of Palmdale, California; Ouachita Parish High School, but she graduated from Richwood High School in May 2016. Some of her school activities included the dance team, Dandelions, and the Richwood Concert Choir.
She accepted Christ at the King Ollie Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of her grandfather Pastor John L. Perry, Sr., where she was an active member of the choir and liturgical dance ministry.
At the time of her death, she was employed at McDonalds in West Monroe, Louisiana.
She departed this life on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Ochsner LSU Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving daughter, Averie Walker of Monroe, Louisiana; mother, Christi Perry; father, Roy Price; three brothers, Cpl. David Perry of Camp Pendleton, and Jonathan Perry and Caleb Perry, both of Monroe, Louisiana; one sister, Kirrianna Wright of Monroe, Louisiana; maternal grandparents, Reverend John L. Perry, Sr. and Minister Mary Williams-Perry of Monroe, Louisiana; five aunts, Pia Williams and Minister Candice Russell (Reverend John L., II), both of Monroe, Louisiana; Donna Wilson, Mattie Higgins, and Rosemary Price; six uncles, Reverend John L. Perry, Jr. (Tuesday) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Carlos Perry (Michelle) and Verges Taylor (Tiffany), both of Monroe, Louisiana; Alex Price, Michael Price, and Allen Price; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
