Henry Joseph Anderson was born on April 19, 1962, to the late Henry Anderson, Jr., and Johnnie Gibson Anderson in Winnfield, Louisiana.
He departed his life in Angola, Louisiana, on Saturday, May 20, 2023, due to his failed health.
Henry was baptized at an early age under the leadership of the late Reverend John L. Russell, Sr. of Antioch Baptist Church in Monroe, Louisiana.
He persevered throughout his childhood of being homebound for several years before attending the regular school system. Later, he was able to receive his high school diploma from Carroll High School in 1984.
Henry worked for several moving companies here in Monroe and Shreveport, Louisiana, with his parents for several years.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry Anderson, Sr., and Jennie Howard; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Janie Gibson; three siblings, Imogene Bosley, Douglas Anderson, Sr., and Johnnie Ruth Anderson; and one nephew, Ernest Alonzo Walker Jr. Henry leaves to cherish his memory: seven siblings, three sisters, Alveria (Willie), Janet (Mark) both of Monroe, LA, and Glenda Kelly of Baton Rouge, LA, and four brothers, Kyrone Anderson, Sr., of Chicago, IL, Rufus Anderson, Sr., and Richard (Laneta) Anderson, Sr., both of Monroe, LA, and Ivory Lee of Kansas City, MO; one godsister, Ollie Burgess of Dallas, TX; special daughter, LaKeithian “Keisha” (Jermaine) Saulter of New Orleans, LA; two grandchildren, Jermaine and Ja’Myria; one uncle, Alan (Beverly) Howard of Monroe, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
