Henrietta Scott Stringer was born on October 15, 1926 in Columbia, Louisiana to the late Amos Scott and Lula Mae Scott.
Henrietta passed away in her home on October 9, 2021, surrounded by loved ones.
Henrietta met Jesus at an early age at Saint Peter, than moved membership to Saint Paul. Henrietta remained faithful, serving God in health and sickness. She served as a choir member, Deaconess, Outreach minister, and Mother of the church for many years.
Henrietta attended Little White House in Columbia, Louisiana.
Henrietta met the love of her life in 1945 and married in 1959.
Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stringer, Sr., along with Elijah Stringer, Katie Wiley, Bessie Johnson, Laurice Brown, Tom Scott, and Bobby L. Scott.
Henrietta is survived by her loving children, Leola White, Catherine Sherman, James Stringer (Josephine), Ophelia Stringer, Raymond Stringer, Jr. (Yvette), Roy Stringer, Charles Stringer, and Albert Stringer (Evelyn); and two brothers, Leon Scott and George Scott (Brenda). She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 137 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her.
