On April 6, 2026, at the age of 80, Hazel gained her wings at LSU Ochsner’s Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Hazel accepted Christ at and early age and was baptized by the late Pastor C. H. Reed. She also served under the Pastor Ray Hill.
Hazel was a graduate of Union Central High School of Columbia, Louisiana. She further her education at a technical School after she moved from Brooklyn, New York.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence White and Rosa White-Allen; and two sisters, Isabell Adams of Jasper, Texas, and Linda Allen of Pineville, Louisiana.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories of her caring and loving husband, Lee Roy Holland; stepdaughters, Julie Crowder and Patricia Johnson; sisters, Edna White (Thomas) Rosewell, Ophelia Allen, Leaner Scott, Alice Lewis, and Sallie (Freddie) Arnwine, “godsister;” brothers, Willie (Barbara) White, C. W. White, Harry (Mae) Johnson, and Pastor A. L. (Twana) Banks “adopted brother;” nieces, DeAndrea “Dee” White and Rosalinda (Darryl) Edwards; Edwin White, Sr.; and goddaughters, Emma Buckner and Lillie (Greg) Tolliver.
She also leaves a host of approximately 25 nieces and nephews in Jasper, Texas, and a host of approximately three generations of god-grandchildren in Winnsboro, Louisiana.
