Gregory Wayne Moore was born on September 28,1960, to the union of the late Dortie Moore, Sr., and Maggy Moore. Gregory was taken from his earthly home to his heavenly home by a tragic car accident on December 1, 2023.
He confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Saint James in Dallas, Texas. Gregory graduated from Pinkleton High School in Dallas, Texas. He worked as a janitor for over 30 years at Union Texas Inn.
He ws preceded in death by his parents, Dortie Moore, Sr., and Maggy Moore; sister, Sharon Moore; and paternal grandparents, Willie and Landis Matis.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: two sons, Gregory Johnson (Dawn) and Gregory Moore, Jr.; two daughters, Rachel and Latoya Moore; sisters, Angelia (Rufus) Lee, Dorothy (Gary) McDonald of New Orleans, and Brenda Kitt of Dallas, Texas, Genita Hunter (Donald), Baton Rouge, LA, Dortie Moorell; two brothers, Willie and Dortie Moore of Monroe, LA; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
