Glenda Dupree was born January 27, 1961 in Monroe, Louisiana. She has resided in Monroe, Louisiana for the last 59 years. She passed away peacefully at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Glenda graduated from Richwood High School.
She worked at Ridge Crest Nursing Home. Glenda was a home healthcare provider.
She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Prevailing Faith Bible Church of Monroe, Louisiana under the leadership of Pastors Charles and Patsy Brown.
In her free time, she enjoyed cooking for her family and taking her grandchildren to church and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Dupree, Sr; paternal grandparents, Tom Dupree, Sr., and Ruth Dupree; maternal grandparents, Barbara Williams and Abe Fields; uncles, Ovesla Fields, Eugene Fields, and Tom Dupree, Jr; and aunts, Margie William, Audrey Higgins, Ardie Mae Bynum, Vera Davis, and Abra Fields.
She leaves to mourn: her beloved mother, Dorothy Scott; four children, Rodricus Dupree (Jackie) and Antionque Stovall, both of Grand Prairie, Texas; Keneshia Dupree of Monroe, Louisiana; and Curtis Stovall of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Gwendolyn Dupree and Regina Dupree, both of Monroe, Louisiana; four brothers, Henry Dupree, Jr. of Angola, Louisiana; Kenny Dupree of Jacksonville, Florida; Reginald Dupree of Arlington, Texas; and Dee Dupree of Omaha, Nebraska; three uncles, Joe Dupree, Willie Dupree, and James Dupree, all of Monroe, Louisiana; three aunts, Patricia Head, Mable Tillman, and Irma Allen; fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a dear and beloved friend, Ramona Jenkins.
