Gilbert Bernard Armstrong Obituary

Gilbert B. Armstrong (Frank) was born on January 7, 1962, to the late Jon B. Armstrong and

Minnie L. Armstrong. He was the 7th child out of 13 children. He attended Dubach High School. Frank was a brother, a father, husband, grandpa, & friend. He was a hard-working man providing for his family the best way he knew how. He loved his families, and he was loved back by many. Frank was caring and had a compassionate, loving spirit, which led him to care for others that needed him and would give the shirt of his back if he had too. He was a smart man. If you were in conversation with him, he would tell you that he is a very wise man; and if it is a phone conversation; he may tell you off, hang up, and sometimes call back to apologize.  If he grew angry at you while talking; his tone would change proper-like. Frank had a big heart that loved unconditionally. Frank will be totally missed! His death left a mighty sting; I pray your last moments were peaceful and that God sent His Angels to meet you with your wings!

His memories will always be cherished in the hearts of his wife Kristy Stringfellow Armstrong, children Cassandra L. Tyler Griffin- Eric E. Griffin Sr, Marcus Tyler, Temekia Tyler, Gilbert Tyler and Kimilee Henderson Douglas-James L. Douglas. (Siblings) Robert Lane Key, Bobbie Sue Jenkins-Robert Dean Jenkins, Linda Gail Johnson, Edward Eugene Armstrong, Milton Wayne Armstrong, Darrell G. Armstrong, Sharon Armstrong Richardson-Montrell Richardson, Jerry Key, Mack Armstrong (Mike)-Shelia Armstrong, Barbara Key, best friend Mary Tyler Berry, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and all loving relatives. Gilbert Armstrong, you are in a better place with your mother Minnie Lee Armstrong, Father Jon B. Armstrong, son Gary Bernard Tyler, sister Cassandra Louise Armstrong, brother Jon B Armstrong Jr. and sister-in-law Beverly Armstrong. Spread your wings Ironman Frank you fought like a champ. We love you always!
