Gary Michael Fields was born September 16, 1974, to the union of Christine and Curtis Fields, Sr., in Monroe, Louisiana.
Gary confessed Christ and was baptized under the leadership of Reverend Eugene Young, Jr., and the Union Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
Gary transitioned to his eternal home on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metarie, Louisiana.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Fields, Sr.
Gary leaves to cherish his memories: mother and father, Christine Fields and Sue Willie Butler; three sons, Elijah Fields of West Monroe, LA, and DeQuantae (Breanna) McDowell and De’Untae McDowell, both of Delhi, LA; daughter, Trinity McDowell of Delhi, LA; five brothers, Rodney Fields, Curtis Fields, Jr., William Butler, Jr., Quincy Butler, and Johnnie (Quston) Butler, all of Delhi, LA; five sisters, Karen Richardson, Kristy Fields, Anitria Butler, and Jacqueline Butler, all of Delhi, LA, and Maranda (Donnell) Washington of Mangham, LA; special friend, Tonia Gray of West Monroe, LA; ten grandchildren, twelve nieces, nine nephews, four great-nieces, one great-nephew and a host of other family members and friends.
