Forst Claiborne Obituary

II Timothy 4:6-8

6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Forst Claiborne was born November 5, 1948 to Percy Claiborne and Emma Hurd in Tallulah, Louisiana.

Forst accepted the Lord as his personal savior at an early age. He later became a member of the Saint John Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Anthony L. Guice.

Forst attended the public schools in Madison Parish and became a graduate of Reuben McCall High School Class of 1967.

Forst was employed by the Madison Parish school system as a bus driver for many years.

He relocated to Michigan, where he was employed by General Motors, where he retired from before returning home to Tallulah.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 12:16 AM, Forst passed away peacefully surrounded by doctors and nurses that cared for him at Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana.
