Evans Ray Taylor was born February 1, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to Evans Ray Taylor, Sr. and the late Leola Caldwell. He was reared by his maternal grandparents, the late Albert Caldwell Sr. and the late Nettie Law Caldwell.
Evans professed his love for Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Holy Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois.
Evans graduated in 1976 from Richard T. Crane High School in Chicago, Illinois. Everyone called him "Junior". He loved to draw. He was the life of party, dancing and singing. Junior loved to watch movies. Westerns and Karate movies were his favorite. Junior was known for his sayings: "honey buns and donuts," "you almost as pretty as me," and "uh-huh."
Evans leaves fond memories in the hearts of many. He leaves to cherish he memories: his uncle, Eddie Caldwell, and a host of cousins and friends.
