Eula Williams was born August 31, 1932, to the late Eula Wilson Butler and Goldman Butler. In June 1957 she married James Williams, and to this union six children were born, four boys and two girls. Sister Williams graduated from Union Central in 1949. She was baptized at an early age at Cuba Baptist Church in Bosco, Louisiana.
Sister Williams was a very outspoken and caring person. She would always light up the room with her big beautiful smile.
Sister Williams was preceded in death by parents, Eula and Goldman Butler; late husband, James Williams; and siblings, Gloria Bailey-Harris, Lula Thornton, Johnny, Willie, Lemmon and Leroy Butler.
Those she left to cherish her precious memories are: daughters, Linda Williams-Parson (Tommy), Sheila Williams; sons, Michael Williams, James Williams, Jr., Saul and Lynell Williams, all of Monroe, LA; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; siblings, Bertha Snead, J.C. Butler of Monroe, LA and Ann Taylor, Shreveport, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
