Erin Parm Joseph Obituary

ERIN MARIE PARM JOSEPH was born on March 29, 1970, to the union of Lottie Mae Allen Parm and the late Normal Parm, Jr., in Monroe, Louisiana. She departed this earthly life on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Ochsner's LSU Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana, leaving a Legacy of Love.

Erin accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized under the leadership of the late Reverend Melvin Franklin, Sr. She continued her membership under Reverend Kenneth Nolley, Sr., until her health would no longer allow her to fellowship with the church family.

Erin began her education at Little Flower of Jesus Catholic School, Clara Hall Elementary School, Jefferson Junior High School, and Wossman High School, where she graduated in 1989. Erin graduated from Louisiana Technical College, Monroe, Louisiana, where she achieved her CNA license and became employed with The Oaks Nursing Home, Monroe Manor. After ten years of employment at Glenwood Medical Center, she ended her nursing career and enrolled at Delta Community College, where she achieved her Associate of Arts Degree in 2009. In 2011, she decided to broaden her education by enrolling in Grambling State University, Grambling, Louisiana, where she graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. In 2019, she achieved her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Grambling State University. Erin was employed as a Social Worker at Ouachita Head Start and, after the organization closed, she was employed by the Department of Children and Family Services.
