EDWARD “JAMES” BLUNT, JR. was born on July 15, 1934, to the late Edward Blunt, Sr. and the late Mary Wilson in Monroe, Louisiana.
James accepted Christ at an early age. He attended New St. James Baptist Church where he was a faithful member of the usher board. James worked as a pest control worker. Later in life, he decided to work for himself. He had his own company called Blunt Construction. He loved doing carpenter work.
James was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward Blunt, Sr. and Mary Wilson; sons, Michael May and Tony Blunt; and great-grandson, Karson James.
He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: his son, Mitchell May (Arlene) of Delhi, LA; two grandchildren, Tanisha May James (Jamarius) of Delhi, LA, and DeAnthony May of Dallas, TX; one sister, Christine Wilson of San Bernardino, CA; one brother, John Wilson (Mary) of San Bernardino, CA; one special cousin, James Monson of Monroe, LA; three great-grand-children, Jamarion James, Tiana James, and Saige May; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
