Edna Elizabeth Brown

EDNA ELIZABETH BEENE BROWN was born to Genva Kyles Guster and Emmett Jackson. She departed this life on August 20, 2025.

Edna (Joyce) accepted Christ at an early age. She joined Seigle Community Baptist Church under Reverend James Toliver. Edna served on the Usher Board and Mother Board, as a Sunday School Teacher, Usher Board Treasurer, Vacation Bible School Teacher, and she cleaned the church every week. She served faithfully until her health failed.

Edna (Joyce) was united in holy matrimony with the late Deacon Claudell Beene Brown. To this union, three children were born, Monica Echols of West Monroe, the late Kirston Brown, and Claude Brown of West Monroe.

Enda leaves to cherish her memories: her grandkids and great- grandkids, Le’Ontrell (Natasha), Don’Quarius (Sumer), Ja’Markus (Calandia), Gregory, Quinterrius, Vanessa (Richard), Victoria and Monesha, Audrie, Justyn, Dawn’Bella, Rose, Easton, Rainana, Paisley, and Patelynn/J’ream.
