Eartha Lynne Jones

Eartha Lynne Jones was born June 9,1963 to Elbert Jones and the late Doris Jones. Eartha, more commonly referred to as Lynne, was the second child born out of this union. She graduated from high school in Lynwood, California, then later relocated to her birthplace of Monroe, Louisiana. To say the least, Lynne was very outspoken, but had a huge heart that was made of gold. She welcomed everyone she met with open arms and never let anyone leave with an empty stomach. Her “tell it like it is” attitude was something that you couldn’t help but love. To know her was to love her. 

Lynne is survived by her father: Elbert Jones, her children: Eugene Scott, Ciera Scott and Brenisha Johnson, her two sisters: Sheila Spurlock and Nikki Jones, her grandchildren: Omunique Scott, Lynasia Cole, Deniyah Scott, Ciemajaha Cole, Lavelle Scott Messiah Scott, Euniece Scott and Princeton Peoples. Lastly, a host of family, friends and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.

Lynne is preceded by her mother, Doris Jones and her son, Dontae Johnson.
