Dshonyon McFarland

Dshonyon A. McFarland was born December 13, 1975 in Monroe, Louisiana to Debbie D. Savage and Willie James. Dshonyon departed this life on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at The Ruston Nursing and Rehab Center in Ruston, Louisiana.

Dshonyon accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age at Hopewell Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor A. W. Watkins. 

Dshonyon received his formal education through the Monroe City School System attending Burg Jones Elementary, Jefferson Jr. High, and Wossman High School. He also joined the Army.

Dshonyon enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Dshonyon was truly blessed and he enjoyed life. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving mother, Debbie D. Savage (Richard); father, Willie James; two daughters, Tori McFarland (Emmanuel), Alexis Boozer (Nycholas); three grandchildren, Emmanuel Lloyd, Jr., Karson Lloyd, Tristian Lloyd; two brothers, Devario McFarland (Latoya), Clarence Bradford, Jr. (Joanne); a Special Friend, Tonta Ard, Sr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
