Dorothy Lorie Brown

Dorothy Lorie Brown was born  October 14, 1964 to the union of the Rev. Joe Brown, Jr. and Mrs. Dorothy Mae Brown.  She was the youngest of four. 
She graduated from Wossman High School in 1983 and Grambling State University in 1988. Dorothy loved both of her alma maters almost as much as she loved her family and church. 
She worked for G. B. Cooley for over 30 years and she enjoyed her work.  She was a proud mother of a son and daughter and even more proud grandmother of 4 boys and one girl, Kaliyah Harvey, who preceded her in death. Dorothy still found the time to enjoy life with her friends.  She was the center of fun and laughs for her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Joe Brown, Jr. , granddaughter, Kaliyah Harvey, and her maternal and paternal grandparents. She leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Mrs.  Dorothy Mae Brown; daughter, Shaterrika Shell; son, Shundarrius Comanche; grandsons, MonTerrius Shell, Braylon Jamez, Kaiden Harvey,and Josiah Comanche; sisters, Evelyn Watson and Josephine Price, brothers, Larry Brown(Minneapolis, Mn), Dennis Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, & friends.
