“Bubba”
Donald Ray Morrison, Jr., was born December 14, 2005, to Donald Ray Morrison, Sr., and Kizzy Brown in Monroe, Louisiana, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He departed this life on July 8, 2024, in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Bubba accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Morning Star Baptist Church of Dunn, Louisiana, under the leadership of the late Pastor Lenwood Birden. As he grew up in church, his spiritual life was developed through the late Pastor Emmanuel Jones and present pastor, Pastor Mildred Carter. Bubba served on the deacon seat as a junior deacon and usher on the usher board. He song in the choir and helped his Uncle Alvin keep up the church grounds and building.
Bubba attended Delhi Elementary, Delhi Middle School, and graduated from Delhi High School on May 17, 2024, with honors. He had plans to attend Grambling State University in the Fall to pursue a degree in industrial engineering. While attending school, he was an outstanding athlete in basketball, baseball, and football. He excelled in all three sports with baseball being his favorite. Bubba was employed at McFarland Funeral Home and Sonic in Delhi, Louisiana.
