Our dear daughter, sister, niece, cousin, mother, grandmother, godmother, auntie, and friend, Denita Nicole Sellers, was born on July 7, 1978, to Annie Mae Pratt and Earnest Sellers. Cole was her mother’s greatest supporter and her daddy’s baby. Her early years were spent with her siblings where she put her big brother Wayne in many headlocks. She took pride in being a big sister and had an unbreakable bond with her sisters, Boo and Netta. She also shared a special bond with her siblings, Bubba, Lil Earnest, Joe, and Boswana.

As a mother, she was supportive of her sons. She looked forward to seeing her boys, Bobby, Odis, OD, and OT play football. She was their biggest cheerleader on and off the field. She dedicated her life to them and was a pillar of strength and light in their lives. Her love for her boys poured over into her grandkids. She was always there when needed and showed love abundantly.

Her nieces describe themselves as the daughters she never had. Her nephews are often mistaken as her sons because of the close bond between them. She was intentional and made sure she showed up to dance showcases, games, and events for her younger nieces and nephews. Cole’s cousins consider her as a sister and best friend all in one. Godmother and friend to many, her absence is felt far and wide. She was embraced by her community and had many childhood friends and coworkers that loved her presence. She leaves behind a legacy of hard work dedication, love, and support.

Denita Nicole was preceded in death by her son, O’Terrius “OT” LaDell Sellers, and her brother, Markis “Bubba” Tyrone Williams.

Her life will be cherished forever by: her sons, Bobby Sellers, Odis Sellers, and O’Dirrius Sellers; daughter-in- love, Josetta Thomas; a loving and devoted mother, Annie Mae Wilson; protective father, Earnest Sellers (Janice); sisters, Tawanda Sellers, Lashonta Sellers, and Boswana Bivens (James); brothers, Earnest Pratt (Milette), Earnest Sellers (Trolonda), and Jodie Bradley (Tiffany); grandkids, Semaja, Bonnie, O'Terrius, Braylen, Odis Jr., and O'Dirrius Jr.,; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
