Debbie K. Flintroy-Collins

Mother Debbie Katherine Collins was born on November 24, 1955 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Nelson Flintroy, Sr. and Kathleen Allen Flintroy. She departed this life on Friday, February 18, 2022.

Mother Debbie accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She later joined Brighter Day Ministries serving as a Mother. She was very quiet, sweet spirited and giving, loving and a devoted Mother to her children and grandchildren. She welcomed everyone with grace and opened arms. She loved SHOPPING!!!

She was preceded in death by her son, Roderick Deshun Collins, three brothers; Doug Flintroy, Michael Flintroy and Rayfus Flintroy and one sister Lou Willie Edwards.

She leaves behind: her husband Roger Collins; Her two children, Her son Darrick T. Flintroy, her daughter Sonya E. Flintroy-Bailey (Thaddeous)  Monroe, Louisiana; Her three grandchildren, Aaliyah Flintroy, Aren D. Flintroy and Kaitlyn Flintroy all of Monroe, Louisiana. Her four brothers; Nelson Flintroy, Jr.  (Tammy) of Houston, Texas, Edward Hill, Jr. (Jerilyn) Huntley, Illinois, Oscar Flintroy of Monroe, Louisiana, Tommy Flintroy (Laverne) Monroe, Louisiana; Two sisters Sharon Allen Mills Antioch, California, and Glenda R. Flintroy of Monroe, Louisiana. A special niece Kathleen Miracle-Rena Flintroy… and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She also leaves to cherish her lifelong friend Mrs. Marie Walker and a very dear friend Moses Parker.
