Sister Dale Evans Cooper was born on March 16, 1956, in Monroe, Louisiana to the union of Mark and Thelma Murray Cooper. She was the baby girl of her eleven sisters and brothers.
Dale entered eternal peace on November 10, 2023, at Ochsner’s hospital in Monroe, Louisiana. Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Rosie Wofford, Margaret Cooper, and Shirley Cooper; three brothers, Melvin Cooper, Martis Cooper and Charles Cooper.
Dale was a member of Christian Fellowship Assembly of God. As an expression of her faith, she regularly witnessed, prayed for others, and invited them to church. She was a member of the choir and known for leading the congregation in jubilant songs such as “He’s an on Time God”, and “God Did It”. Dale loved learning and studying the Word of God and she enjoyed participating in bible study and Sunday school discussions.
Dale leaves to cherish her life, four sisters: Lessie (Gint) Jenkins, Virginia Cooper, Gloria Elmore, and Barbara Cooper all of Monroe, Louisiana; one brother Roland Cooper of Monroe, Louisiana; a daughter and a niece that was birthed in her heart: Bria Edwards and LaShundra Jackson; a sister-in-law, Emma Cooper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
