Clyde "Pete" Savage was born on May 3, 1930 to the late Clyde Parrish and Verna Lee Savage.
He was a member of Dyer Chapel CME Church, where he served as an usher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Savage; one sister, Marie "Kitty" Houston; and one step-daughter, Frances Jo Cobbs.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Clyde Savage (Karen) and one daughter, Judy Lard (Ernest), both of Ringgold, Louisiana; three step-sons, James T. Cobbs (Bob) and Richard Savage (Debbie), both of Monroe, Louisiana, and Willie Thomas Cobbs of West Monroe, Louisiana; three step-daughters, Patricia Cobbs of Monroe, Louisiana; Barbara Slack of West Monroe, Louisiana; and Erma (Will) of Ringgold, Louisiana; one special granddaughter, Teresa Herron, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
