Charlotte Gilbert

Charlotte Gilbert was born December 4, 1961 to Leddell Howard of Winnsboro, Louisiana and Orangie Gilbert, whom both precede her in death. Out of six siblings, she was the oldest daughter.

Charlotte received her formal education from the Louisiana Public Schools.

Charlotte accepted Christ at an early age and attended China Grove Baptist Church in Monroe, Louisiana. She was a faithful servant at St Luke Missionary Baptist Church in West Monroe, Louisiana until her death.

In 1987, Charlotte gave birth to her one and only son Jordan Gilbert. In 1995 she gave birth to her daughter Zelain Gilbert, 1998 gave birth to Valerie Powell all of Monroe, Louisiana.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories: three children, Jordan Gilbert (Keianna), of Dallas, Tx. Zelain Gilbert and Valerie Powell of Monroe, Louisiana; six grandchildren, De’Arah, Nydia, Aidyn, Brooklyn all of Monroe, Louisiana and Khloé and Jordyn of Dallas, Texas. She also leaves three brothers, Ricky Williams (Josie), Dexter Howard of California and George Gilbert (Patricia) of Louisiana. Two sisters Jeanette Gilbert of Florida and Andrea Howard of California and a host of other relatives and friends that loved her dearly.
