Jackie, Janeka, Patrice & P.J., I am so sorry that this happened. I wish I could hug you all. I keep picturing his smile & hearing his baritone laughter. I listened to some reggae in his honor since I couldn’t be there with y’all to honor such a good human-loving husband, father & friend. I may still have some tapes he made me (yes, tapes. We’re old school) I have a lot of love for your family & was lucky to see you kids grow up with Charles & Jackie looking over you. And I can still hear Charles say, “Jaaackie,” when he was annoyed with you but you could hear the love, affection, respect & laughter in his voice for you, Jackie. Love, Kellison Burnley

It is with deepest sympathy we offer our condolences to the Charles Cassey family during this hour. He was a true straight-up man. He was a joy to work with, and we all looked forward to our encounters on the Job and off the Job. He will be missed, and we understand for him to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. You have been faithful over a few things, now God will give you charge over many.
