At her passing, she was a member and musician for Faith United Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Alex Earl.

Lois was educated at Little Flower Academy and graduated from Wossman High School in 1977. She also took music lessons with Mrs. Saunders and attended Robinson Business College, where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Lois was a loving mother to her sons, Alexander and B.J., and adored her eight grandchildren. Lois was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Mary Goss Nursing Home.
