“Blessed are those that mourn, for they will be comforted.” – Matthew 5:4
Bryant O’neal Marles, Jr., was born in Monroe, Louisiana, on May 30, 1994, to Glenell Jacobs and Bryant Marles, Sr.
Bryant was loving and filled with joy and happiness. He was a leader. He had the biggest, brightest smile you, and with it you could see him coming a mile away. He had that same smile for everybody he met along the way. We cry and cry knowing we will never see that smile again. As we look back and remember the life he had, we know he is smiling down at us with that same big, bright smile knowing we remember him. The pain of his death is not something that will just go away, but what makes it bearable is knowing that we are gathered here today because of the wonderful memories he left us as a part of him that neither time nor death can ever take away. -JaGarrionna Ziegler
He was preceded in death by his uncles, Eric Marles and Taqiyy Paster, and godfather, Tyrell Tillman.
He leaves to cherish his memory: father, Bryant Marles, Sr.; mother, Glenell Jacobs, and father, Marcus Jacobs, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Bessie Paster and Lester Paster; paternal grandparents, Yvonne Marles and Andrew Goldman; four children, Bryant Marles III (Damara Hudson), Bri’Asia Calloway, Mattilyn Marles (Marie Calloway), and Kash Marles (Kelendria Cook); sisters, JaGarrionna Ziegler, Garranesha Ziegler, Bryonsai Matthews, and Brianna Jackson; brothers, Marcus Jacobs, Jr., JaMarcus Jacobs, Bryant Matthews, Br’Darrius Matthews, Brodrome Matthews, and Dermarquiz Ward; aunts, Ridges Marles and Sharlita Marles; uncle, Victor Marles, with whom he had a special bond; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends whom he loved dearly.
