We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Delhi
Brother Charlie Ester, Jr., was born on August 15, 1943, to the late Allie Mac Arnold Ester and the late Charlie Ester, Sr., in Franklin Parish. Charlie said goodbye to this old world on May 19, 2022, at Ridgecrest Community Care Center in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Charlie was a people person; he never met a stranger he didn’t call his friend. He loved his family, his friends, and always had something funny to say.
Charlie was a hardworking farmer who was deeply committed to taking care of his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Allie Mac Arnold Ester; father, Charlie Ester, Sr.; two sisters, Betty Drungo and Penny King; brother-in-law, Handy King, Jr.; and four brothers, William Ester, Johnny Ester, James Ray Ester, and Thomas James Ester.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one brother-in-law, Reverend Leotis Drungo of Delhi, Louisiana; three children he helped raise, Connie Montgomery and Sharon Criss, both of Delhi, and Darron Puckett (Erin) of Monroe, Louisiana; one niece that he helped raise, Diane King Berry (Maxie) of Monroe, Louisiana; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
