Broderick Dewayne Hines, affectionately known as “Brock,” was born on September 9, 1970, in Monroe, Louisiana, to Carrie Hines and J. W. Little. On August 24, 2024, God decided to call him to his eternal rest surrounded by his cousin, Sammie Chambers, sister, Josephine Little, and niece and nephew.
Broderick was a loving, caring person. He made sure everything was good and taken care of. He was a hardworking person. He made sure that if he wasn’t doing anything, he went to work and made sure his family was secured. Talking about a jokester, he most definitely was funny.
Having a talent for fixing cars and hooking up beats was a thing for him, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He worked at Sparks Nissan for over five years, something that he loved.
Broderick leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Carrie Hines; three kids, Shakara Hines, Broderick Jr., and Tanisha Hines; one brother, Christopher Hines; two sisters, Josephine Little and Wanda Garner; and his grandbabies, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Hines; sister, Sherry Hines; father, J. W. Little; two nephews, Cameo Christopher and Brian Hines; and a host of other relatives and friends.
