Bobby Lee Moran was born on March 8, 1950, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the late Ella Mae Thomas and Willie Crawford Moran. He was married to the late Jennifer Hawkins. To this union were born their two sons, Marco and Jino Moran.
He graduated from Union Central High School and attended Grambling State University. Afterwards, he joined the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge in 1976. He then moved to Chicago where he worked as a painter and a truck driver. After retirement, he returned to Columbia, Louisiana, and became a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sons; two daughters, Sherina Gibbs and Katrina Roberts; grandchildren, Sandra Moran, Javelle Roquemore, Hawkins Moran, Sebastian, Lovielle and Grayeson Gibbs; granddaughter, Nyomi Denis; and one sister, Mary Norris.
He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with two long-time friends, Glenn Ray Varner and Charlie White.
God has opened this gate to receive a special angel.
