Bobbie Laws

Bobbie Laws was born January 26, 1952 in Monroe, LA toBessie and Simon Jones. She resided in Monroe, LA over the last 50 years. She passed away peacefully at her home on August 15, 2020. She attended Carroll high school and retired from Best Western Hotel. Bobbie accepted Christ as her lord and savior at an early age. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking care of her mother and shopping at thrift stores and the dollar tree. 

She was preceded in death by Simon Jones (father), Gary Stevenson (son), Ella Stevenson (grandmother), Dequez Stevenson (grandson), and Christopher Jones (nephew). 

She leaves to mourn her mother Bessie Mae Jones of Monroe, LA. 9 children: Debbie Stevenson (Monroe, LA), Ocie Stevenson (Atlanta, GA), Karen Stevenson (Atlanta, GA), Jacqueline Stevenson (Monroe, LA), Marcus Harris (Monroe, LA), Marquita Harris (Dallas, Texas), Lashawn Stevenson (Monroe, LA) Lashawndra Stevenson (Monroe, LA), and Lastavion Stevenson (Monroe, LA). 2 sisters: Valencia Jones Edwards ( Shreveport, LA), and Annette Jones Lewis (Houston, Texas) 2 Uncles: Mark and Alex Stevenson (St. louis, Missouri), 2 Aunts: Betty Haynes (Tallulah, LA) and Sandra Jean Christmas(Las Vegas, NV) and host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
