Andrew Watson was born on April 22, 1970, to the union of Ivy Sr. and Eva Watson. He loved God and didn’t mind letting it be known. He was a great husband, father, and “PaPa.” He was a GLPP, a God-fearing leader, provider, and protector. His grandbabies were well known as “Papa’s babies,” and he became soft-hearted when it came to them. Andrew was always talking about the goodness of God and how he healed him from different illnesses. He always recognized his wife and two daughters as his queens, diamonds, and pearls, and his two sons as his kings. His favorite words to them were, “Watch your surroundings and keep your eyes and ears open,” and “Daddy loves you.”
If anyone knew him, they knew that he was a family man, loving, supporting, and funny guy. We will always love him and remember the good times that we had with him.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Jacqueline Watson; two daughters, Andrea Watson and Jaireeka Watson; two sons, Andrew White and Andrew Watson; father, Bishop Ivy Watson, Sr.; twelve sisters, Glenda (Benny) Miley, Ilean (Ricky) McCarthy, Lisa (Dexter Sr.) Wilhite, Rose (George) Nabors, Latasha (Coty) Hall, Christal Watson, LaShena (William) McFarland, LaKesh (Manzelle) Williams, Ivory Watson, Anquinette Watson, Antoinette (Klytaveis) Turner, and TaShanna Richmond; five brothers, Ivy Watson, Jr., Matthew (Quita) Watson, Michael Anthony Watson, Antonio Watson, and Isaac (Sally) Watson; eleven grandbabies; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Nell Watson.
