Birdia M. Page Jones, commonly known as “Grannie,” was born on December 1, 1934, to the late Louis Page and Eva R. Page in Pineville, Louisiana.
She later moved to Monroe, Louisiana, where she married the late Earnest Jones, Sr., and became the mother of ten children.
She accepted Christ soon after she moved to Monroe, Louisiana, and became a member of China Grove BC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, two kids, her only brother, and two sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her four daughters, Evon “Bunny” Page, Earnestine Jones, Alice M. Jones, and Deborah D. Jones, all of Monroe, LA; and four sons, Earnest Jones, Jr., Marcus L. Jones, Eugene Jones, and Andrew R. Jones, all of Monroe, LA.
She was blessed with 43 grands, 96 great-grands, and 53 great-great-grands. She also leaves a long time friend for 35 years, Mr. Henry E. Jackson; one godson, Mr. Bobby Lowens; and a host of other friends and relatives.
