Beverly Ann Ross was born on May 31, 1954, in Monroe, Louisiana. Beverly was reared by her mother-in- love, Marie Smith and devoted dad, Earl Ross. She confessed to Christ at an early age and was baptized by the Reverend Richard Joseph Cannon at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Tallulah, Louisiana.
Beverly graduated from Reuben McCall High School in 1972 and studied at Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana. Subsequently, she received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and continued to pursue her passion for learning.
Beverly enjoyed working with children, as much as they enjoyed being in her presence. She touched many lives, displayed compassion for all, and motivated youth to strive always for excellence. After 33 years of service, she retired from the Madison Parish School District.
Beverly was an active member of the New Hope Baptist Church, especially Sunday School. She loved studying the Sunday School lessons with the popular YouTuber, &" That Sunday School Girl.”
Beverly’s interests included her family and the keeper of the family memories. However, she was known for her fun-loving personality and lighting up every room she entered.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Marie Smith and Earl Ross, and her sister, Peggy Shannon. She leaves the following loved ones to celebrate her life: her daughter, Kimareanna L. Richardson of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her sister, Kimareanna L. Ross of Monroe, LA; her brothers, Earl B. Ross of Monroe, LA and Federigo R. Jones (Shawntai) of Dallas, GA; stepmother, Earnestine Ross of Monroe, LA; nieces, Kenyatta Conway (Kendric) of New Orleans, LA and Kenya Ross of Monroe, LA; nephews, Keithwyn Ross of New Orleans, LA and DeAire Shannon of Las Vegas, NV; her godbrother, Elza Phillips of Tallulah, LA; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
