On January 4, 1955, Beatrice Harris entered into the life of Thomas Hutcherson, Sr., and Olivia Fletcher Starr of Monroe, Louisiana.
She accepted Christ at an early age, where she was baptized at St. Luke Baptist Church under the Reverend Felix Thompson.
She attended Booker T. Elementary, Carroll Jr. High, and Carroll High School. Beatrice loved movies and fashion.
She blessed this world with five beautiful children, Jason (Kim) Khisha, Harris Wells (Damen), Catherine Harris-Williams (David), Anthony Harrell (Barbra), and Aaron Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Thomas Hutcherson, Sr., and Olivia Fletcher Starr; and five siblings, Robert Earl, Willie James Thomas, Jr., Willie George, Dorthy Ann, and Rudell Hutson.
Beatrice leaves her loving memories to her five children; three sisters, Alberta and Pearlie Hutcherson (William), both of Monroe, LA, and Maxine Smith (Jesse) of Winnsboro, LA; one brother, Ronald Harris (Ada) of Atlanta, GA; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
