Barbara Caston Campbell was born on July 23, 1946, in Winnsboro, Louisiana to the late Floyd Sr. and Bankie Caston. She passed away on February 22, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana.
Barbara accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Beth Eden Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Cleophas Simmons. She remained a member under the current leadership of Reverend Tommy Joe Taylor, where she faithfully served as a prayer warrior and Sunday School Superintendent for many years.
She was affectionately known by her family and loved ones as “Bob” and “Bob Caston”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Sr. and Bankie Caston, her brothers, Willie Caston and Charles Caston, her son, Sebastian “Toby” Caston, her daughter, Tonika Campbell, and granddaughter, Banika Campbell.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Eugene Walter Campbell, her children, Shelvey Campbell, DeMarbvia “Kotto” Campbell and LaToya Williams, her sisters, Blanche C. James and Catherine Caston Newton, her brother, Floyd Caston Jr. (Fannie) of Maryland, her grandsons, Tobias, Runako, Jerry, DeMarvun and Zane, her granddaughters, India and Kierra, her great-grandchildren, Taylor, Keiyna and Rukiya, her Godson, DeWayne Turner and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
