Barbara Jackson

Barbara Jackson was born on June 15, 1961, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the late Lee and Josephine Jackson. She transitioned from life to eternity on April 3, 2024, in Glenwood Hospital.

Barbara “Linda” accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Seven Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Larry Harris until her transition.

Barbara “Linda” was blessed with six beautiful children. She was a loving, faithful, caring, trustworthy mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Josephine Jackson; one son, Frank Washington III; one sister, Dorothy; four brothers, Johnny Lee, Lee Edward, Daniel, and Terry.

Barbara Jackson “Linda” leaves to cherish her precious and loving memories: two sons, Kevin Jackson and Demarcus Washington of Delhi, LA; three daughters, Latonya Washington, Reka Washington, and Charmain Hardy, all of Delhi, LA; six stepchildren; one brother, Robert Jackson of Houston, TX; two sisters, Annie Brown of Delhi, LA, and Debra Cahill (Tyronne) of Garland, TX; fifteen grands; two great-grandkids; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
