Augustine (Lewis) Martin

Sis. Augustine Martin was born on June 7, 1946, to John Lewis and Augustine White Lewis in Concordia Parish, and passed away on July 23, 2019.

She was baptized at an early age and became an active member of St. Paul Baptist Church until her health began to fail.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, and one brother.

She enjoyed cooking, fishing and doing her church duties.

She leaves to cherish fond members, her husband, Willie Martin; four sons, Albert Lewis, Willie B. Martin, Jr., (Deidra), Richard Martin, and Alvin Martin, Sr.;  daughter, Lisa Whitley (Al); two grandsons; Alvin Martin, Jr., Demario Martin; two granddaughters, Ashanta Martin and Alexia Whitley; two great-grandchildren, Donta and Devin Martin; four brothers and four sisters, John Lewis, Jr., Henry Lewis, Anthony Lewis, Abron Lewis, Lucille Fair (Robert), Shirley Lewis, Elizabeth Lewis and Dr. Evaline (James) Foster;  and a host of nephews, nieces, of other relatives and friends.
