April G. Singleton was born on August 26, 1980, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the union of Bill Singleton and Bobbie Adams. She transitioned from this life on November 8, 2025.
April accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in Bastrop, Louisiana. She attended Bastrop Elementary School in Bastrop, Louisiana, and Neville High School of Monroe, Louisiana.
April worked as a companion for Azalea Estates of Monroe.
April loved spending time with family and friends and was a gifted hair stylist.
April was preceded in death by her son, De’Tavius K. Smith.
April leaves to cherish her memories: her son, DeSean M. Singleton; daughter, Talija K. Singleton; father, Bill Singleton of Monroe, LA; mother, Bobbie Adams Dawkins; stepfather, Roger Dawkins of Monroe, LA; two brothers, Corey Adams of Atlanta, GA, and Kalum Morrison of Dallas, TX; one sister, Kimberly Garrett of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
