A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Angela was a beautiful soul. This, in brief, is her story.
Angela Smith was born February 3, 1969, and departed this life April 21, 2022. She was born to Patricia Ann Tyson Smith Daniels and Clyde Johnson.
Angela received her formal education through the Ouachita Parish School System, where she excelled in her studies and choir.
Sister Smith accepted Christ as her Savior when she was just merely a teenager. She was blessed with the gift of song. Angela was employed with various jobs throughout West Monroe and Monroe, Louisiana, and she continued to thrive with her career in Jacksonville, Florida, at Early Learning Coalition (ELC) for 10 years as a child and resource specialist.
In her leisure, she enjoyed singing, reading, and watching black and white films and shows. Angela Smith was irrevocably blessed and highly favored.
With her bright smile and warm spirit, she will continue to hold a candle in so many lives.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Patricia Ann Tyson Smith Daniels and Clyde Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Miata Smith of Jacksonville, FL, and Briana Smith (Josh Taylor) of Jacksonville, FL; husband, Rancell Johnson of Odessa, TX; two step-children of TX; one sister, La'Kecsha Smith of Monroe, LA; one brother, Micheal Sledge of TX; best friend, Tracey Harvey Coleman of Monroe, LA; godsister, Keisha Turner of Monroe, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other living relatives, and friends.
