An'Janne Marie Lindsey was born March 16, 2009 to Ms. Sonita Marie Capers and Mr. Kenneth Lee Lindsey Sr. in Monroe, LA.

An'Janne began her journey of life in Monroe, LA where she was her parent's youngest child. She was very smart and had a smile that could light up any room.

An'Janne loved gymnastics, dancing, making TikTok videos, and hanging out with family.

An'Janne was a born leader and there was never a task to small or big that she would not tackle. She would help her parents and grandparents whenever called upon. She even took it upon herself to teach her oldest cousin Laniyah Darby how to ride a bike one summer.

An'Janne attended Riser Elementary School, Riverbend Elementary School, and Cypress Point Elementary. She had plans to graduate from Sallie Humble Elementary School and follow in her sibling's footsteps and attend Carroll Junior High School.

An'Janne had plans to become a nurse, hip hop and jazz dancer, and the first African American female President once graduating from college.

KaJenn'e and An'Janne both loved going to the park and hanging out with family; especially riding in the car with their parents and uncles.

They were proceeded in death by Robert L. Capers, Maggie Capers, Eva McCray, Debra Hart, Barbara Hart, Loyd Joesph Hart Sr., Elouise Lindsey, Clemon Lindsey Sr., and Darell Journee.


They leave to cherish their loving memories their mother: Sonita Marie Capers; father: Kenneth Lee Lindsey Sr; brother: Kenneth Lee Lindsey Jr all of Monroe, LA; grandmother: Carolyn (Herman) Flower of Monroe, LA; Loyd Joseph (Lazonia) Hart Jr of New Orleans, LA; uncles: Leondell (Allyssia) Darby and Mendell (Keiwyone) Darby of Monroe, LA; Gary (Yolanda) Lindsey; Tyrone (LaQuetta) Lindsey, Gerroy Lindsey; Troy Journee; Ronald Steward; Anthony Journee; Clemon Lindsey Jr., and Edward Journee all from New Orleans, LA; aunts: Brandee Darby of Monroe, LA; Tanisha Capers; Sharlena (Mitchell) Rachal; Jackie (Charles) Reddick; Shawana (John) Lonon; Sheila (Will) Williams; Barbara (Keith) Williams; Angie (Fabian) Warren; Gwen Journee all from New Orleans, LA; god-parents: Jamal (London) Lewis of Orlando FL and Darren (Dawanne) Poree of Raleigh, NC; a host of great aunts, cousins, extended family, and friends.
