She preceded in death by her mother Gracie Marie Square-Smith; her sister, Cassandra Faye Smith; her maternal grandmother, Alice Jane Rush; maternal grandfather, Ike Square; her paternal grandmother, Callie McMillan and paternal grandfather, Johnny Powell Sr.
Her memories will be cherished by her father, Johnny Powell; husband, Bobby Heckard; and her 5 children, Danny Smith (Houston Tx), Chandrika Smith, Shantovia Smith, Danquanetta Smith, (all of Monroe, LA), and Zamarian Smith (Franklin, Kentucky); two god-children, whom which she loved as her own, Krya Randle and Japaul Bradley, both of Monroe, Louisiana; four sisters, Aretha Smith Goston (Allex) of Charleston, South Carolina; Angelina Bryant (Anthony), and Johnetta Smith of Monroe, LA, Shayla Scott, of West Monroe, LA; three brothers Danotony Square (Triwanna) of Monroe, LA; Eric Powell of Monroe, LA; and Jonathan Scott of West Monroe, LA; god-sisters, Tomeka Kimble, Sheneika Jackson, Barbara Jackson, Gwenetta Jackson, one god-brother, Luther Jackson, her god-mother whom she loved dearly Catherine Jackson; 13 grandchildren, Danny Smith Jr., Faythe, A'livya, Ameer, Trajarrious, Traveon, Dez'Zyiah, Aarjanae, Ariyanna, Arson, Arteries, Ar'Taevia, and Za'Riyah, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
