Alfred King, Sr., was preceded in death by his wife, Benoise Crandell King (2004), and daughters, Bonita King Anderson (1995) and Jezebell King Clark (2006). Alfred had four brothers and two sisters, all of whom preceded him in death. He was the youngest child.

Alfred King’s living children include his one daughter, Omelia King Smith of Delhi, Louisiana, and two sons, Alfred King, Jr., of Holly, Michigan, and Corneclous A. King of Saak Centre, Minnesota. He also leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
