Alexis Francoise Rogers, 37, of Atlanta, Ga died September 23, 2020 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Rogers was born July 11, 1983 in Monroe, La to Phantashia Dawkins and Roger Dawkins.
Alexis graduated in 2002 from Klein Forest High School in Houston, Tx. She later found her passion for makeup through YouTube tutorials. It was from there that she went from having thousands of subscribers to being a TV/Film makeup artist. She worked on projects such as Salem (WGN), Ma (Producer: Jason Blum), Love Craft Country (HBO), The Oval (Producer: Tyler Perry), The Highway Men (Netflix), Superbowl 52 (NFL Films), Blue Cross Blue Shield (Commercial), amongst many other productions.
She enjoyed traveling with family, going on Saturday breakfast dates, health and fitness. She enjoyed perfecting her craft by attending workshops, sharing her knowledge with others and living out her purpose, which was to share what God placed in her as a gift to share with others that had a passion to learn more on a deeper level than what others was willing to give.
She is survived by her husband, Jacoby Rogers of Atlanta, Ga; her children, Jeremy, Alyza, Naleaux, and Jacob; her parents, Phantashia Dawkins and Roger Dawkins (Bobbie); sisters, Ameain Ambrew, Selxis Dawkins (twin sister), Mya Romero, Kymyatta Gardner (honorary sister); brother; Roger Robinson; maternal grandmother, Jessie Tillman; and a host of uncles, aunt, nieces and cousins.
