Rachel (Edwards) Theus

          Rachel Edwards Theus was born on January 1, 1934 in Demopolis, Alabama to Reverend and Mrs. D.D. Edwards. She was one of eight children, five sons and three daughters.

          She gave her life to Christ in 1943 under the leadership of Reverend L.E MacDanild. She married Leroy Theus on December 18, 1949. She was the mother of nine children, six sons and three daughters: Leroy, Jr., Johnny, Jimmy, Shirley, Billy, Lois, Charles, Barbara, and Sheldon.

          She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leroy Theus, and one son, Jimmy Ray Theus.

          She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Leroy Theus, Jr. Johnny Edwards Theus, Shirley Ann Theus-Dixon, Billy Gene Theus, Lois Diane Theus-Loyd; Charles Ray Theus, Barbara Jean Theus-Woods, and Shledon Ray Theus; about thirty grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
