O. C. Carr was born April 24, 1947 in Sterlington, Louisiana to the union of the late Alfred and Dorothy Lee Richardson who preceded him in death. Also preceded him in death, one brother, Alfred Richardson III, two sisters; Barbara Ann Richardson and Linda Dianne Jackson.
He accepted Christ at an early age.

Six brothers Alonzo Richardson of Monroe, LA, Willie James Richardson (Nancy) of Sterlington, LA, David Richardson (Fannie) of Delhi, LA, Donald ray Richardson (Shirley) of Rayville, LA, Kevin Washington of Baton Rouge, LA, Larry Colvin (Kitty) of Houston, Texas, Thirteen grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends.
